This week’s listening
Depending on where I am, or what I am doing, I will listen to different music. For example, in the car I listen to rock music. In my office I listen to ambient type music – such as Brian Eno. At home, I often listen to Jazz. From week to week and month to month I often forget what I am listening to, what I enjoyed (particularly if CD are decluttered and dumped in a box in the attic). So I thought that I would take a photo of whatever CDs are sitting on the front seat of my car, as part of my currently heavy rotation listening. the photos may be a little crap. So to the left is my current listening this week:

- Richard Thompson – Electric – music 8/10, Sound 8/10, loudness 2/5.* I have never been a great fan of Richard Thompson – I don’t like his voice but he is a superb guitar player. This album was recorded in Buddy Miller’s studio in Nashville, and is – head and shoulders – my favourite Thompson record since Rumour & Sigh.
